Kitchen faucet won't work after city replaced my pipes into my home
I recently had the city replace the water pipe coming into my house. When they turned the water back on everything worked. It wasn't until a 1/2 day later that my kitchen faucet failed to work while while the separate spray washer seems to work part of the time. The faucet is a Blanco all in one model.
    Help!!

Have you removed the little filter on the end of the faucet? Could be clogged and also the sprayer end could be clogged.

The little filter catonsville is referring to is called an aerator. Remove and clean or replace. Should cost about $3. Should unscrew by hand, but if not use pliers to remove. Wrap with several wraps of masking or duct tape to prevent scratching.

Sorry for my miscalling the Aerator a Filter even though most do have a filter screen in them. The reason all was well was the fact that the water in your lines were okay and did not get clogged until the work area water got to your faucet. Your FAUCET should be fine.

No aspersions intended cantonsville, just telling rarmour the correct thing to ask for if the decision is to replace.

"spray washer seems to work part of the time" I think the problem is not just the arerator. Likely debris in the mixing valve. Is this a single handle faucet?
