I am a 41 year old male.. I get a pain in my left shoulder that is very painful.. it makes my arm go to sleep.. now my thumb, index finger and middle finger are numb all the time.. when the pain in my shoulder starts my shoulder blade pushes out a little.. the pain in my shoulder comes and goes mainly about every 20 min. or so and is very painful..

How long has this been going on? Have you been seen by your physician?

Been going on about 2 months now no I have not seen a doc yet

There are a number of things it could be, and I agree with J-9, the only way to know for sure is to go to a qualified medical professional and get the necessary diagnostic tests for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
