I smoked on October 24, a couple hits from a pipe. I may have a hair follicle test in December. I've read that THC metabolites don't always incorporate into hair, any insight?

Sometime last year. It's not something I do often. Did it in October with friends at a festival that one day.

If you only took a couple hits, (really) now most peoples couple hits is like hours of smoking. It will not show up and you should be OK

It was really a couple of hits. No more than 10 minutes worth because I just wanted a buzz.

Hair follicle tests are designed to test use over time. Regular use, not sporadic use. If you only took a couple of hits you should be fine. However, if you are a regular user, you have something to worry about.
