Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Light Got Dim
I have two Hampton Bay ceiling hugger fans in my den. It was necessary to get remote control fans because the ceiling is very high. They are remote control only, no pull switches. We noticed yesterday that one of the light sets on one fan only got very dim and nothing we do will make it get bright again. We tried changing out the bulbs and that didn't work. We've cut it on and off at the wall, we've turned it off and on several times with the remote and nothing helps.

Any ideas on why it just got dim?

    Thanks
    Amy

Since nobody has answered yet, I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I may be stating the obvious, but just in case...

Does a single remote control both fans, or are they independent?

If each fan has its own remote, try turning on the dim one and then pressing and holding the light-on button to see if it was just commanded to a dim level.

    Good luck,
