    Sternum question
My son hurt himself doing a front flip on a trampoline. He says he thinks he hit his chin on his chest or sternum. He has had to take it easy for three weeks mostly precautionary but also because he had pain. He now has a bump pertruding from his chest/sternum area and is slightly tender to the touch. He had said ibuprofen made him feel better and really handled it so well that no er or dr. Visits have been made. He is a very active, athletic 11 year old. Please if you can shine a little light on this topic it is very appreciated. Thanks

3 weeks? Well, maybe a DR visit IS in order. Safe than sorry

Considering he just brought it up again its what I was thinking. I did so much research on it when it happened that I felt he may be OK. But here we are. Thanks

Since it has been three week, and still pain, and now a bump, yes a doctor trip is a good idea
