Changed distributor but not getting spark for my 91 honda accord

If the CEL consistently comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), the ECM is likely good. Normally, installing a new Ignition Control Module (ICM) in the distributor (genuine Honda only) and coil solves the problem. If you replace the ICM, apply silicone heat transfer compound to its back; otherwise, it won't last long. Stay away from aftermarket distributor housings for Hondas--they are unreliable and often don't work, except for boat anchors.
