I have a 1 1/2 year old cockapoo and out of the blue (within the past 12 hrs) she has gotten very beige-whitish circles around her eyes and her eyelids are puffy. It looks like her fur around the eyes was plucked out. I just need to know if this is maybe a serious thing. I took her to the vet 2 days ago and they said she had a doggie cold and gave us antibiotics could it be the medicine? Please help.

Bad reactions are rare, but happen. I would discontinue the medicine and call the vet in the morning. It doesn't sound quite bad enough for an emergency call.

Sounds like contact dermatitis-were you given drops? Discontinue, flush eyes with water and check with vet. I wouldn't think a "cold" caused bilateral eye swelling. Sometimes they develop Cherry Eye out of the blue-the third eyelid swells and protrudes and is very pink. Hmmm. Let us know!
