Hi, I Have a burned resistor on a multimeter 82018. The resistor is charred, and can't read the color band except for the first and last one. I assume is a 5 color coded resistor. Anyone has the chance to open their 82018 and check for resistor R41 , close to the huge R47( the u shaped metal resistor)?

Unless this is an expensive valued unit, it will be easier to just buy another one. You can buy a small digital unit at Harbor Freight for less then $20.

or google the manufacturer for the schematic...
