    The homeland fight.
I'm a U.S. service member of lower ranking, and it's hard for me to find an affordable lawyer. I'm currently deployed overseas and I'm trying to file for a divorce, before I lose my career due to the fighting at home. I have one son, and a step-child(priceless joy). I'm already handling child-support just fine, and paying for her living expenses which makes it impossible for me to find a lawyer(and lets not forget the fact, that I'm in a 3rd World country). I spoken to J.A.G. and they'd agreed to help me with the paperwork, but I need the paperwork first! I heard about those do it yourself kits, but I was also told that If you don't do it correctly, then your screwed. Help anyone! Advice will be duely noted.

    p.s. I'm out Washington state.

Let me see, if the JAG is going to help you, then would it be done wrong if you ordered the paperwork?

And why are you still paying living expense beyond child support?? If you are officially separated?

And is this not something that can wait till you get back state side, since you can't appear in court for divorce at this time anyway?
