We just finished our new home that included a 110' long x 12' deep x 10' high Trex deck on the back facing east. The wind in Wyoming is fairly strong out of the west blowing a lot of the time. We are experiencing a low pitched howling noise lasting 3-5 seconds but repeating over and over again throughout the night and day when the wind is blowing. The house is over the 110' long so it is blowing in from the north or south under the deck. We've tried screwing down the entire deck instead of trex clips with no success. Any ideas?

I would almost bet the noise is coming from the slots where the clips fit, kind of like blowing over a bottle. Harmonic noise.
