    Roommate problems
My roommate and I moved into a rental property four months ago (we both still live here). We had agreed that he would pay me so much per payday and I would in turn make sure the rent and utilities would be paid on time. Since he has paid very little towards this, he owes me a growing sum of money to cover what I've paid for him to date. Is there any way for me to collect this from him? Moving out isn't an option, I don't want to break the lease, but I've still got seven months to go and cannot afford to do this anymore. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tell him to leave, that you can't afford to have a roommate that isn't helping.

You can sue him, if he is merely sub-renting from you you can evict him and try and find another room mate.

He seems to think its OK to take advantage of a nice person, so stop being nice and put your foot down. Take him to small claims if he does immediately pay all back rent. Do not enable him further.
