    EtG testing question
I drank 8 beers and 4 mixed shots between 9pm-2am on a Thursday. Blew .000 by 9:30am Friday. Have an EtG test Monday morning. I'm a 5'7", 21 year old woman weighing at 150 pounds. Will I pass this EtG test??

Unfortunately you will probably pass with this time frame.

    Why is that unfortunate?

Because you are taking the test for a reason, probably court ordered, and if you're like everyone else, once you get away with it one time, you will keep doing it.

It's unfortunate because you haven't learned your lesson, and you won't until you kill someone. Yes, I'm bitter, I've lost a family member to someone like you.

I actually don't know for sure if I have to take it Monday morning. I'm just assuming I will have to. But I guess you're right. People do take advantage of things like this. This will never happen with me again though. But you do think I have a good chance of passing?

You will probably pass but the majority who say they learned their lesson and won't take a chance again...well, they do. Time after time we see people here stating how they can't stand the stress and all that and will never do it again, only to be back next month asking the same crap again.

To someone like me? You don't even know what happened and the situation I'm in. I'm very sorry that you've lost someone to what I'm assuming a drunk driver, but don't go accusing if you don't know what's going on

Yeah I've seen that a lot. The thing is I've never had to take an EtG before so I don't really know how it works or the time frame of getting it out of your system

You probably do. I wish you didn't though. You aren't ten feet tall and bulletproof. It will eventually catch up with you. You will get caught.

    J-9, I probably do what?

I don't need to know you, I know alcoholism. It's obvious you aren't supposed to drink, but you did. Just like everyone else who has a problem.

You either refrain from that which you are prohibited, or you stand up and pay the piper.

Okay honestly I asked a question about an EtG test. I don't need to sit here and have you bash me about alcoholism and everything else you're saying. I asked a question to have it answered. Not for people to say I have a problem and deserve to not pass this test

If you have to take tests, you have a problem. It's as simple as that.

Just out of curiosity, how or where (by what breathalyzer) did you blow .000 Friday morning? There are many different ones that have varying degrees of accuracy. 12 drinks over 12.5 hours, I am a little surprised all alcohol is metabolized that quickly, I'm not disputing, just asking.

Yes, if you have an ETG test Monday morning, given the information you have provided, you stand a very good chance of testing negative. There are different cutoff levels that are tested for, depending upon who is ordering the test.

If you have never had an ETG test before, why do you think you will/might have to take one Monday morning? Again, curious, due to the different cutoff levels, but chances are likely that at either of the two most common cutoff levels I have heard of: 100 or 500 ng/mL you will pass.
