    I want to know if I can bypass the switch to check the submersed pump?

    You can jumper past the switch but just to check it.

    The simple answer is yes. However, you should be able to simply open a faucet and let the pressure drop until the switch clicks as the points close. You can then use a voltmeter to make sure you are getting power to the pump.
