How to cap hot water valve from dishwasher
I removed my dishwasher. I'm not replacing the dishwasher at this time. How do I close where the hose came from the hot water, and close the entry to the garbage disposal so I can turn the hot water back on for the sink again?

There should be a shut off angle stop for the DW, probably under the sink, mine is in the basement. If there is only a fitting, get a brass compression cap. If you can't find a rubber cap for the disposal, use a rubber stopper and electrical tape for the DW hole in the disposal.

    Hello Swampbot,

Follow Ma0641 instruction also you can try my suggestion, cut the hose which is connected to the garbage disposal approximately 2 1/2" go to home depot by a copper cap that will fit inside the hose install the clamps now turn on the water try the GB disposal and check for leaks, good luck.
