    Seeking Child Support
Hi my name is Raquel and I am from Philippines... I have a question for my two children...
1 How to seek child support for my two kids... the father is Danish and now resides in Denmark?
I have no contact with him as he refuses to contact me and for sake of our kids..

You have to go to court in the Philippines and get a court award for child support. You will then need to see if Denmark has a reciprocal agreement on child support with the Philippines. You will need an attorney to help you with this.

Even if this all falls into place, you may still have a hard time collecting.

    Thank you for your response.
Do I need an attorney to go to court in the Philippines to get a court award for child support?
I cannot afford to pay for an attorney I have no work...

You may not need an attorney to get a child support award. But frankly, you will need one to try and get money from him in Denmark. So if you can't afford an attorney or find one to take your case pro bono, you might as well give up

I don't have communication with him and he never contacts me since 2011.
If ever I have the court award if it is possible for me to find him to let him know about the court award against him?
He is extremely rich in Denmark...

What will happen if I get the court award and they find out that I don't have work would it be affected for the court award or I still need to go to court to get the court award to let the father of my two kids to support them?
He can afford attorney as he have money and I don't have but I am the one giving the care and guidance for the kids, mentally and physically.

Letting him know won't do anything. Unless the Danish government recognizes the court award and helps compel him to pay, I doubt if he will pay. If he was willing to help support his kids he would have done that by now.

Can you give me a sure answer if I can win it if I do seek child support?. because I have no idea what to do until you answer me for my first question. I meet him since 2004 and we have child 2005 and have my second child from him 2011, plus been in Denmark already 2010 and stay there only 2weeks back December 25, 2010. He wanted before that I will do abortion for my second child because he refuse that he is the father of my second child but I know myself that he is the father as my daughter really look like him.

If you have proof he is the father, the courts should award you support. You will have to show you have made a good faith effort to serve him notice of the petition for support. If he doesn't respond you will be awarded support by default.

Sorry, no one can give you a sure answer because we can't say what a court will do. A local lawyer should be able to tell you.

I have proof which he signed for my son birth certificate with his Tax income and they both had DNA test and proven that he is the father and he submit to our City Counsel... My son is carrying his father First name and family name so he is Jr. of him. About my daughter which is he deny that she is not his daughter but then I need him to prove with the DNA test also with her, because in the middle of our relationship he had another affair and had child with her too.

Ok, so you have proof, at least for your son. I'm not sure how much I can tell you. Are you getting public assistance? If so, talk to your caseworker, they can suggest or provide help to go after him.
