Where do you live ? You are on an international site. If US, what state do you live in; most are liberated at 18

If you are in the USA, You can leave the house with your clothes, your mom can then change the locks to the house and never let you return, She also never has to give you a dime or do anything more for you at all... for the rest of your life.

I think there is a LOT more to this story than you are telling. I bet this is a boyfriend....and you will either break up or be pregnant inside a year...and neither of you have a clue how much it takes to really support yourselves.

I don't actually know of any place in the world where at 18 you're not legally an adult. I'd be interested to know which places Tickle is talking about. Tickle, can you provide a list?

Your mom can disagree, but she can't stop you. She can call the cops, but at 18 the cops can't and won't do anything to stop you from leaving.

Now, if you leave and you can't make it on your own, what will you do? I don't think mommy will take you back in because she'll likely be mad that you defied her to begin with. So make sure that if you leave, you can survive on your own for the rest of your life. Also, you may have to accept that your mom will be mad (that's obvious) and it may not be easy to resolve that and have a relationship with her.

Why do you want to leave so badly? What's the hurry?

Smoothy, let's not guess about the situation. Let's wait for the poster to tell us what's going on before we decide that she's moving in with a boyfriend, and will be pregnant within a year. Not all teens are idiots. Let's at least give her a chance before we judge. She deserves that. Everyone does!

You just move. Your mom can not do anything.
