On my testies pubic hair there is a yellow residue forming on the individual hairs . Ok, at 16 you have got to understand you will be at the doctor for all sorts of issues with your "private parts". And at 16 do you want to wait and not do something that will cause perhaps serious problems for you.

I will assume you have tried washing and bathing the area several times a day ?

It is time for that doctor check up, if you want to or not...

First I have to know if you are sexually active. This is important so that I know where to guide you.

This could be a STD, could be a yeast infection, jock itch, etc. But I need to know so I know where to refer you.

Also, are you active in sports?

Jock itch, looks awful but is very easy to cure (all sorts of over the counter stuff). Doctors do not care, they knew there were going to be stuff when they became dr. also they likely could have had the same problem.
If nothing else they see it all the time. There is never any reason to be embarrassed to go to a dr. (except not going to DR.)

My boyfriend had that are you sure its yellow because it might be from sweating a lot and not washing properly.
