My septic tank, which was recently installed, has become difficult to hook up to the existing pipes coming from the house. It appears that the pipes coming out of the house are already higher than the inlet on the septic. Thus, gravity takes the waste out of the house, and then can not pass the uphill battle to the septic inlet.
Ideas?

Get the idiots that recently installed it wrong to come back and do it right... or sue them. Basic law of physics water nuns downhill, not uphill.

"pipes coming out of the house are already higher than the inlet on the septic". They should be. If the pipes are higher, they would flow DOWN to the tank. Did I misinterpret?

Opps... my bad. ma0641, you are correct after going back and reading it again. The house SHOULD be higher than the septic as it apparently is. I misread it last night when I answered.

WHich conflicts with their original statement? The original poster needs to come back and clarify which statement is correct and which is incorrect.
