Anything is possible. Pregnancy tests look for the presences of hormones that indicate pregnancy. It is possible your hormone level is abnormal.
I'm not sure what a "pregnant abdomen" is. An abdomen can become extended for a variety of reasons. All of which require you to see a doctor. Also you say the ultrasound appears to show a fetus. Appears to whom? You or the doctor/technician?
But the bottom line, if your doctor is saying you aren't pregnant, then your doctor should be able to explain why the other manifestations (or lack thereof).
At what type of facility did you have the ultrasound done? Did you have any blood work done?
False blood tests are common early, even with a few women for a few months. The proper way to test is a blood test, why are they not doing a blood test.
But if a fetus is visible and the doctor see's it, what is the issue, what help do you expect or what help do you want?
