Help me find a movie from my childhood
PLEASE HELP...
I vaguely remember a movie from my childhood, it was my favorite movie and I believe I always watched it on VHS, this movie should have come out (roughly) between the years 1985-2003. I will list what I remember
-I believe it was puppets (but I could be totally wrong)
-the main character was a girl
-the main character had a sidekick that was either a sprite/fairy/ball of light with wings
-the main character said to her sidekick "don't be such a worry wart" in what I believe was the opening/beginning of the movie
-the beginning of the movie (I think) was in a forest scenery
-***I am missing big chunks of the movie from my memory so I am now listing what I think was towards the end of the movie***
-the main character made friends wherever it was that she went and she was now on a boat being attacked by something in the water
-the boat was the kind that had big wheels that treaded water
-(this could be totally wrong and completely from my imagination, but I feel like they were looking for treasure)
-at some point I believe they were singing on the boat
