    31 weeks pregnant and cramping
On and off I get mild period like cramps, no fluid leaking or anything but boy do they hurt! I have also noticed over the past few days having multiple braxton hicks when I get up to walk anywhere.. I know they are not true contractions, but if feel lots of pressure, accompanied with lower back pain and cramps. I was wondering if this is normal or if I should call my ob? This is my second child, I'm not sure if that makes any difference.

It could. I would call your ob. It is probably just braxton hicks, but it is best to have professional eyes look it over too.

Ring your doctor for the peace of mind. If they come and go, for example, several over a few hours, then none for a couple of hours, or a good part of the day, they are not likely to be a concern. Braxton Hicks will usually subside when you change activity, such as sit or lie down if you notice them more while walking, or when you get something to eat or drink. Be sure that you are drinking enough fluids as being a bit dehydrated can result in more contractions as well.
