When a man who has intimacy problems asks for "time and space" is he just stalling a breakup? How much time is too much time? Can I call him after a week?

I don't think the time and space have anything to do with being intimate.
I wouldn't call him at all. Let him go and if he calls you then I guess you can take it from there.
Thank you for you input, Chuff. I would define intimacy as emotional intimacy, and I would argue that if someone is not emotionally ready then they will naturally seek time and space. I recall past dating relationships when I have been on the rebound or not ready for a serious relationship... and I always took time and space, usually without asking for it.
But I will try to not call him.
Yes you can call him after a week, Intimacy problems I'm not sure if that's the correct reasons may be some other reasons he is not telling you the truth...Quote:
