    Vaginal tearing, red open sores.
For the past couple months I have been having intense itching and white milky discharge. I have to wear a panty liner to work it's so bad. I was examining myself today with a Mirror and I have round flat open sores (almost like tears). I don't have medical insurance and I don't know what to do. The itching is so bad that it effects my sleeping at night. I'm just trying to get some info on what this my be. & I've been with my boyfriend for 1 year & I was his first so I'm certain it's not an STD. Please help. Thank you!

Have you tried a yeast infection treatment? It sounds like what it could be. If that doesn't work then you might have to suck it up and find a doctor. If you look in the Medical Conditions forum on this site, you'll see resources for low income people needing access to the medical system.

I haven't tried anything, I didn't want to make it worse than it already is.

Try Monistat cream for yeast infections.

I don't want to make it worse, & when I spread my legs it feel like I'm tearing between my vagina and anus. I Didn't think that was a symptom of yeast infection..

When you let it go untreated for months, yeah, it's going to get worse.

Your only other option is seeing a doctor. If it isn't a yeast infection then you need to be tested to find out what it is and how to properly treat it.

Does your local health department have a clinic or are there any clinics in your area with sliding scale fees?

J-9 is a nurse. I think you can trust her judgment. Even if you do not have medical insurance, you need to get checked out to be assured that it is nothing serious. Would you rather be safe then sorry.

That part of your peri area would be separating.

I meant to say your perineum would not be taring (not tearing, that is crying).

The longer you let this problem go, the worse it is going get. Try monistat.

    Taring?

No, your perineum would not be tearing, but it would be incredibly uncomfortable.

You should first, stop having sex, and no it could be several things, while a yeast infection would be a logical first choice.

So, you need to see the doctor, this is just something that happens, boyfriend can help pay for the visit.

Why would you think that was mean. It is from the dictionary, describing the verb to tare!!

That was an unfair reputation assessment if this was only describing a word for heavens sake ! Don't you get it

I missread it. I realized I misread it and the misread made me laugh. I needed a good laugh today and you provided it. Thank you. Hence the good rep.

I just inserted my first treatment of Monistat 7, & it's making my itching way worse. Is this normal?

It is going to be, but you should start to see an improvement quickly. If not you should go back to your doctor. Just remember to continue until you're done the pack, reading and following the directions precisely.
