Toilet Flange broken and rusted out
I had the toilet leaking onto the floor. I knew the wax ring failed. Un mounted toilet and noticed that the flange has failed. Here are pictures. Any ideas how to get myself out of this one. Attachment 46644Attachment 46645Attachment 46646

    Hi Nate.

That is an OFFSET cast iron flange and it can be repaired by purchasing a spanner flange repair part (see image)... available at all home improvement stores... ;) Here, you will first install a toilet johnnie bolt (closet bolt) into the spanner flange and then use a hammer to insert the spanner flange under the existing broken cast iron flange so it "spans" the break (you may need to remove some of the floor under the flange area a bit)... great fix for this issue!

There are other flange repair kits, but this is usually the easiest/best solution if you can find it!

    Good luck!

The setback is that it is a marble tile floor exact cut and goes into the basement. I guess I can cut off the offset iron flange ?

Are you saying the floor is so tight againist the old flange that you can't slide the span under? If so, do not cutoff any flange, chip away at the marble with a chisel. You need about 3/4" of space and you have about 2" of marble before you would start to show out beyond the toilet base once it is reset
