Why not take a test when you are two weeks late and find out for sure. Nothing else is definative. Meaning just because a few women might have something happen, doesn't all will or even most.

Like smoothy said, each woman, and even each beginning pregnancy, is different. With my first one, I would get nauseated while cooking dinner, but nothing else. With my second one, I floated on a cloud of bliss, with no physical complaints. Of course, my periods stopping were the first clue both times that I might be pregnant.

It is different for each woman and each pregnancy. Some women experience 'symptoms' from very early in the pregnancy. Some women later and/or not at all.

Is this pregnancy progressing differently from your first one? If you are concerned, talk to your doctor.

As was said, it varies. Increased urination, headaches, and slight cramping are some of the common ones that can be noticed early on, but not everyone will experience them. Some women will feel as though their period is about to start, but then start to wonder when it doesn't show up.

With an early implantation, it is possible, but not everyone who might feel some possible symptoms early on will associate them with the possibility of being pregnant. For most women, missing a period will be the reason that they start to suspect the possibility, although even that is not a given since periods can be off.

For a woman who is trying to become pregnant, and has been tracking her cycles, she will be more apt to watch for possible early signs.

Hormonal changes occur from the start, and just as in menstruation, some women will be more sensitive to the rise (and drop as the case may be) in hormones than others. This is why some women will have a horrible time with their periods, while others are not fazed by them at all, and everywhere in between.

It will also depend on the timing of ovulation and implantation. The sooner these occur, the greater chance of experiencing some symptoms sooner.

How long ago did she start to have headaches and nausea? Certainly it can be due to an illness, so she will have to see whether these continue and/or what happens when she expects her next period.

Generally the first physical manifestation of a pregnancy is a missed period. Other symptoms that might be experienced are probably due to other factors.
