Filled unit with 60lbs of R-22, depleted from system in one week. Coils, compressor leak?? Unit operated fine for one week then blowing warm again. Last Freon recharge was 2 years ago.

I'm guessing you verified its actually gone by using a set of manifold guages... correct? THere are more things that can leak than just the coild and compressor that can leak.

No possible way to get 60# of Freon in any HVAC unless it is a monster whole building unit. 6 # perhaps? You will need someone to check for halogen leaks.

Exactly, apparently I forgot to put my thoughts in writing when I posted that. 50 ton commercial air handlers only hold a fraction of that.

Go to a supply house and pick up a leak detector... will be much cheaper than the gas you lost. Then you can locate the leak. I'm surprised you didn't hear it leak if you lost that much in a week.
