I have installed 2 bathroom sinks and the Home Inspector tells me they are not to code because of no over flow hole is this correct? Do I need to replace in order to sell my house I just did this in July why would Glacier bay sell a sink with the cabinet and not have it to code?

I don't know if the code specifically requires an overflow. I also have one without an overflow, didn't realize until I had it installed. That was 20 years ago. Never been a problem. But, then I never leave the water running unless I am standing right there.

None of that matters, the home inspector has not authority what so ever. HIs inspection is a service to the buyer.You don't have to fix anything. All you have to do is say I'm selling the house the way it is.

Modern sink vessels do not have any overflow holes, my cast sinks do not have overflow holes. Ignore the inspector.
