Trying to replace a ceiling fan/light. New fan has white,black green wires. Electrical box has red,black,white and green wires. Do the black and red wires from the box connect to the black fan wire?

Sounds like the new fan is remote control only, correct?
And the old one had two separate switches on the wall?

If so then connect it color for color and cap off the red in the ceiling.
