I filled a i130 for my husband on April 30, what do we do next, do we just wait for the approval of the i130. Please help just so confused

Please provide more information. Are you a U.S. citizen or permanent resident? Is your husband in the U.S. or outside the U.S.? If he is in the U.S., how did he enter the U.S.?

Let me start over in October2013 I went to Banjul GambiaI I married my husband there.he still resides in Banjul Gambia I am a US citizenI live in the United States.in April of 2014 I filed I 130 for my husband,we're still waiting for approval.do we just wait for the approval to come through? what do we need to do, just so confused need help please

Yes. In this case since he is applying from outside the U.S. he will go through Consular Processing. First you need to wait for the I-130 to be approved, and then NVC will contact you guys about the next steps to go through Consular Processing at the U.S. consulate in his home country.
