I ordered a new B&S starter. It came with some new hardware, ground strap and including instructions to install a band and rectifier? Help this is a used mower and 2002 and it has had starter replaced before.

However, it did not have a ground strap, band or rectifier attached to starter. Could the last installer taken off, or is this something new. I cannot figure it out. Is there a manual or video to show me how to re install? Thank you for you help.

I am not sur, but the ground strp could be need to be reused. You do not provide and modelnumber or part number, so how can one tell?
