Hi my husband has reached both stems and parts for hot and cold knobs and the spout still leaks!

What else could it be?

Its just a plain hot knob cold knob and spout.

I assume that you mean he replaced stems. Did he replace seats?

Yes he bought the stem replacement kit... seats replaced also.

Did you flush out the supplies and open valve bodies when you had everything apart? No? The you might have disturbed minerals built up in the pipe walls where it's now blocking the valve from closing. The solution would be to take the stems out and flush out the lines, Good luck, Tom
