    They will no doubt notify CPS in Kentucky, and Kentucky CPS (or whatever they call it there) will pick up where Ohio CPS left off.

    As noted, without background as to why CPS is involved in your lives we can't answer you. I can tell you that many states have reciprocal arrangements and since Ohio and Kentucky share a border, I would be very surprised if their respective CPS agencies do not share information. So that if you flee the OH jurisdiction I would suspect they inform KY to be on the lookout for you.
