My daughter is 39 weeks pregnant she has a sore throat , half of her tongue she can't feel, sometimes she's cold sometimes she's hot, her feet are swollen, she has a headache, plus fatigue and body pain. What do you think is a
matter ? And if we should be worried
. Or should we go to the hospital? bp is normal. she has been to the hospital so many times in the last month that she wanted me to ask someone before she goes to the hospital and gets sent home cuz of this being normal in pregnancy

Sounds like a cold or the flu. What worries me is the swelling and the headache. What is her blood pressure like?

It might be good to go to the L&D department where she is supposed to deliver to get checked out.

At this point in her pregnancy, isn't her OB's phone number in her phone? Someone should be on call 24/7 at the practice and I'd have already called.

None of this is normal in pregnancy.

I am an L&D nurse. I would rather send a patient home 100 times than for her to stay home when something is wrong and it could be prevented by another visit just because she doesn't want to go in and get sent home again.
