Hey, I'm a 15 yr old female. I have suspected I am pregnant for about a week now. My period isn't due for another 5 days and I started spotting yesterday and my bleeding has gotten heavier; it's not as heavy as my normal period. Could this be implantation bleeding? Or a possible miscarriage? My symptoms are Nausea, lower back pain, tender breast, lower abdominal cramps, and Headace. Is this normal?

It's possible that you can experience some of those before a period as well. Periods can be off from time to time especially in the teen years. Have you had nausea before with a period? It is also possible that you have an illness.

Certainly if you've been having sex, pregnancy will be a possibility. See what happens with the bleeding. If it lasts about what your normal period lasts that is most likely what it is, just a little early, which again is not unusual.

If after, you continue to feel possible symptoms, either try a pregnancy test at home, following the directions carefully, or see your doctor, health department, or a pregnancy center for a test.
