Sometimes a cycle will be off and a period shows up later then expected or you may even skip a month. Certainly when there is a lack of a period, pregnancy is often one of the first considerations.

When did you take the pregnancy test? If it was awhile ago, you could try another... making sure to follow the directions carefully, or see your doctor for a test there.

One of the directions that may or may not be on the information sheet is to do the test using your first urination after your sleep. This will give you your most concentrated urine so if there is any HCG in there, it will be more likely to show up.
