So I have been friends with this guy for a about about 12 years now... we went to middle school and high school together and we always kept in touch after! He is an amazing person, and we get along just fine. But... we did kiss a few times when we were younger and now that we older and I'm married and all that he keeps thinking he screwd up... that we shouldve dated and all that because he still really like me... long story short, we are still good friends, he is really respectful and adorable. His birthday is coming up.. what should I get him? I've never got him anything, but this year is different, I really feel like I should get him something nice.

Other than that you'd really have to know the guy to know what the best thing would be at a far more affordable price. WHat sort of things does he like? What sort of things does he dislike?

What about a Birthday cake itself? It would finish on the day he cuts it, rather than giving something he can keep it with himself, which will remind him of you more and more. Or something else like that.

Why don't you and your husband take him out for dinner and drinks for his birthday?
