My daughter is 4 years old. Her bio dad was absent from the pregnancy and most of her first year of life, then has been completely absent the last 3 years. I have never taken him to court for anything, including child support. He has 2 other kids he does not care for. When we called him to ask if he'd consent to signing over his rights for the adoption he refused and stated he's moving in a few weeks. My lawyer is very confident we will win. But I'd still like to know an estimate of our odds. Our state is Kansas.
