Kenmore elite 665 solid cancel start light on together, cannot choose a program
My Kenmore 665 elite dishwasher shows the cancel and the start button both lit up (not flashing) at the same time when I select start.
If I try to select a program, only some of them are available and then when I press start (because it goes off when I select a program), the lights on the control board clear completely so that nothing is selected.
I have tried pressing the reset sequence as described in other posts, and can get all of the lights to go on at once, then when I close it, it goes through a short cycle (10-15 minutes), but then goes back to the same error when I try to use it again. (could the error be reappearing as it goes through the diagnostic cycle?)
I have also shut the power to it for over 30 minutes, but that did nothing.
Is there another diagnostic code I can use? When it is running, it seems to work fine. (washing, hot water, draining etc.).
