I have a Schaff Bros. upright player piano that is in decent condition. The player still works and I have about 64 rolls of music. A couple of the keys are present, however, there are a couple that do not have the top white piece. The piano has also been painted. The serial number is 33720. I am not sure of the exact age.
I was hoping you might know how old this piano might be and what it might be worth. I am also wondering if there is a reputable company in the Indianapolis area that purchase this type of piano or would it be better to try to sell it on eBay or craigslist?

You can't tell online what a piano is worth. The soundboard needs to be examined. Yours being painted takes a lot off the value. It wouldn't be worth a lot anyway, sorry, low hundreds tops. And piano movers cost a lot. Call all the piano dealers for 50 miles around, and put it on craigslist.

A piano, being a local sale only unless it's extremely rare, is worth what the market will bear, and that can vary a lot depending on who might want one at the moment around your area.

Many people just donate them to charities and take a deduction for taxes.

EBay? Shipping would probably be more than the cost. Does not sound like a high value item as described. Might make more money selling the player rolls separately.

Antique pianos are worth very little, if anything, even if they're in top notch brand new shape. You probably couldn't give it away, or you'd have to pay to have someone haul it away (that's what I learned in my research of your particular brand of piano).

In other words, it won't make you any money. If you don't want it, you'll likely have to spend money to get rid of it.
