Okay so I am 19 and am having a panic attack.My period is late I took at test it said negative I am also having cramps and I have sore boobs my period has never been regular I used protection.So I am just not sure what To think please help.

It could be that your period is late. You say it's late then you say it isn't regular...so...how do you know it's late and how late is it?

EVERY female has sore boobs when their period is due.

And you just wasted a test if you are a day late... it needs to be at least two weeks late or you will most likely get a negative... even if you are.

Using protection is no guarantee, it only reduces the changes of a pregnancy. We have two members here that got pregnant while using three forms of birth control correctly. So it does happen.

Give it a bit more time and see if your period is simply a bit late this cycle. Test again if still no period, making sure to follow the directions carefully.

You may have miscalculated the start date.
Sore breasts are common with PMS. Perhaps you will start in a few days
