About 2 weeks ago I started noticing a itchy feeling in my vaginal area and asked my boyfriend if he was experiecing any unusual problems similar in his private parts, which he denied but I knew he was lying in the next week we had sex and it was painful for me, I didn't think much about it until the next night we had sex again and were examining each other close and I noticed his penis had what looked like white creamy stuff around it and a little cracking towards the head he wouldn't tell me all his symptoms, but from the pictures I googled of uncircumzied penis with yeast infection , trich, and a lot of others thsts konda how it looked but not as bad. My vagina that last night of intercourse was badly swallon the , labias and all I noticed after examing myself in a mirror what looked a lot like a yeast infection but I have not had a yeast infection since I was a little girl. I assumed it was a yeast infecton and we both got an antibiotic cream Called DAKTARIN I got one similar to mosistat and I used DAKTARIN. We both used then for 7 days and my boyfriends symptoms cleared up within 3 days and so did his lips. Me o. The other hand after my 7 day of medicine I was a lot better but still felt itchy, 2 days katr I got my period which I thought this period was a littke heavier than normal and I read a period can help get rid of a Yeast infection so I waitied for my period to be over which was about 2 days ago and I still have little white things around my / labias that whipe off and now I have a lot of clear/yellow discharge coming out and to me I does not have an odor, also my vag area is pinkish reddish color and those are the symptoms on my vagina. And also at first before we bought the antibiotic cream I had a bad red rash on my chin and under my nose and a sore on the corner of my mouth , with a few days of the ceeam it went away, but the soar came back and a thrash on my tongue and it had cracks in the sides of the tongue area. I was reading that chances are if the yeast infection comes back it could be a std, I am almost positive my boyfriend has been cheating so now I am worried I been looking at Sti infections like Trich and it seems very similar to that what do you think because my boyfriend was harldy affected and seems to be doing fine .;

It's time to see a doctor and find out what this is. Honestly, I can't believe that you are messing around and not seeing a doctor...you're talking about it being in your mouth and everything...I'm grossed out just sitting here reading your description of you and him....how could either of you live with it without having it checked out?

I haven't been having sex at all not even kissing since I seen the first symptom and call me gross all you want I have been faithful for the past 4 years... my boyfriend maybe not... and I plan on going to the hospital hopefully tomorrow if I can get across the border were I live I cannot afford it and I have no insurace

I didn't call you gross....I said I was grossed out from the description you gave and wondered how you were able to deal with it.

Anyway, that is the best choice for you is to get checked out. Also, if he really is cheating and bringing this kind of problem to you, then you may want to consider finding a new boyfriend.

I would have been to the Dr but I thought it was a Yeast infection and I took the proper medication for it and as soon as the medication was through I got my period and they say when you have a YI and you get your period that it will help your body throw it all out and I didn't feel any problems during my period I thought it was gone then when my cycle was through I'm already gettng syptoms back

There are dozens of STD's that it could be. Only a proper test at your doctor.

The longer you wait, the worst it can get.

Hi. I am sorry to say that since this is a public forum, you can't really dictate what advice or opinions you get. If that isn't to you liking, than that is too bad. If you don't like the advice you're getting, that is also too bad.

Regardless, I believe that you, and your boyfriend, had yeast infections. I also believe that you have a secondary infection. I don't know if this is a STI or a UTI, but I would lean towards a STI. I am happy that you're going to the doctor. I would have gone MUCH sooner because stuff like this, if left untreated, could cause massive problems later on.

Also to note, when I was young I was told that before becoming sexually active with anyone to get their sexual history and get a STI screen of them and do the same for them. When you become sexually active with someone you are sexually active with all their previous partners too. Everything they had he could still have and pass on to you. If you were exclusive before and now your boyfriend is diddling around, anything he brings in he will give to you. There are quite a few STIs that men are just carriers. They won't exhibit symptoms but pass it from woman to woman. So if your boyfriend is putting his penis in someone other than you he could catch a STI and not know it. If he then sticks his penis in you, you could get that STI.

Sexual exclusivity is often assumed in a relationship so when one partner violates that trust it is a huge, and often unrecoverable, strain on the relationship. You've got this incoming vector for disease that could render you infertile or worse. What are you going to do about that? Spend the rest of your life being treated for STIs that your boyfriend gives you because he is constantly cheating on you? You need to consider this instead of blindly going forward.
