    Kenmore Elite washer
I have a Kenmore Elite washer that fills up with water but does not agitate at all. You can hear a cling noise when it is suppose to agitate. The wash light will remain on and the timer will count down for few more minutes and just stops at a certain time display and remains there. There are no error codes being displayed at any time. The lid switch does click when opened and closed. I tried to run it in the spin mode, but it does not do anything. Do you have any suggestions for me? :)

The problem could very well be in the Electronic Control Board. One of the basic things you can try is to unplug the washer's power cord from the wall outlet and after an hour plug it back in. I have asked several costumers of mine to try that first and it's worked in several cases in appliances having electronic controls instead of mechanical timers.
    Hope it'll work for you.
