Although spotting or light bleeding can happen a day or two after intercourse, it would be wise to let your doctor or midwife know. They may suggest holding off on intercourse for awhile, they may want you to get checked, they may say just keep an eye on things and let them know if the mild cramps and light bleeding continue or worsen.
Any time there is bleeding in pregnancy it's best to get checked. Many women do experience some light bleeding, or spotting, during pregnancy, but unless you know the cause, you don't know if it's a concern or not.
Call your doctor and make an appointment. When you do, inform the receptionist that you're pregnant and experiencing bleeding and cramps.
I wish you all the best.
Ok thanks Douglas..
I'm going to the ER as soon as I get off which is in an hour in a half.
Sorry Doula
