Is it possible for engine oil to be leaking out of the transmission main shaft seal a
This is on a 2002 dyna wide glide. Engine oil seems to be leaking out of the trans main shaft seal. Pulled the primary down and drive pulley off and sure enough, oil leaking out of that seal, not the same color as formula +. Seeing the oil pan is underneath the trans, is it possible for engine oil to get in this part of trans and leaking out without contaminating the trans oil? Drained the trans and no sign of contamination, drained the primary and no sigh of contamination, changed engine oil and filter, rode for 10 miles, and still leaking dark brown oil. Can you help me?
