I been having ovarie pain on both sides every time I have sexual intercorse with my husband. Now it also hurt while doing house chores or when I go to sleep and lay down on my side. I haven't had my period for about 4 months. I have a one year old daughter and ever since I had her I had only had my period like 3 times but it is my first time I feel pain in my ovaries. I have a doctor's appointment this week but just for a papsmear because in order to do a sonogram they will charge a lot

With having pain and a lack of periods for several months, they may need to do more than just a pap smear, but that would be the place to start. Have you ruled out the possibility of pregnancy?

If they want to do an ultrasound, perhaps you can discuss a payment plan or a reduced charge that would work for you in order to have it done. It would be worth asking about.
