Thank you for your response and info but it's not exactly what I need. This lady had someone to come out and check her a/c and they found the fan center was bad and replaced it but only connected the high speed side of the motor and left the fan/limit switch disconnected and the gas valve turned off and all of the remaining wires caped. The wiring diagram that was on the inside cover has completely deteriorated to the point that it is completely unreadable. I need to see how the fan/limit switch was originally wired. Lamar

That's strange that he would leave it like that . Did he find a bad heat exchanger?

The furnace is fine. This has been a couple of months back and this is what I remember as far as the reason it was left this way. When he changed the fan center it was different than the original one, wiring was different and because of the lack of a wiring diagram he left it this way and was going to try and find a diagram. Her son ask if I would take look at it and without a diagram I just don’t want to connect it.

Here is a picture of the limit switch and an illustration of the limit switch wiring. (#3 Being the transformer) I will try this hook up which is most likely the way it was originally wired and test it. Will let you know how it works out.
