Check for codes to see what is causing the CEL.
I haven't seek any codes. It runs fine but that clicking noise is a continuous thing. Now sometimes when it doesn't want to just come inside and start I shut it off and then tried again and it starts. The only time that check engine light comes on is one is just cranking no start when it starts fi itdoes not come on
Your ECM is starting to fail, which is playing havoc with the main relay and causing the clicking noise near the steering column. When the engine doesn't start, perform the K-Test on the ECM. I'm sure it will confirm the ECM is failing. I've seen this many times. Install a remanufactured ECM and your problem will be solved.
