Why not? ( Because they prohibit it)..you might have been married BEFORE the convictions...but that grandfathering ended with the divorce. This would now be considered a NEW relationship/marriage.
smoothy, is 'why not' really what you meant to say?
If a court orders you to stay away from someone, how can you marry them? By proxy, and never see each other?
Joypulv, I can see now how that might easily be interpreted in a way other than I originally intended. SO I edited it to clarify.
