    Drinking.
Hello, I'm 16 years old. I wanted to ask if drinking once in 1week and 3days is bad for me? I don't drink strong drinks, only beer. I actually hate strong drinks like vodka etc. I only drink beer and that's once in 1,2 weeks, or maybe sooner. Only in night time, when I go out with friends. I made that pause of 1,2 weeks, because I don't want to get my health bad.

I'm scared if this can get my health go bad. I am in a fit form, I excersise waterpolo, but paused for 1month now.Can I get a beer stomach from this type of drinking?

I am 1,75 cm tall, and 64 kg.

So once in 1week and 3 days I drink 2L of beer in night time, that is enough to make me "Nearly drunk" if you know what I mean. I don't have hangovers, like headache in the morning, sometimes I just have dizziness.

So is 2L in this period bad for me? Can it affect my growth in height, and can it affect my health (Heart,Liver) etc. Can it affect my liver?

Please I only want good answers. Also I am pretty handsome can it affect my body look? I only drink at summers, I started drinking last summer. At winter time I don't drink because I don't have time, and don't go out much. Also remember I only drink beer, so please gimme your opinions.

Yes it can effect you negatively... you are still growing so it will affect you even worse.

And drinking at your age sets you up to be MORE predisposed to become an alcoholic.

You will be significantly less likely to become an alcoholic if you wait until then... Studies have proven that, and you don't want to have that problem.

OK I'll wait. Btw is weed safer? :D I don't smoke and I never will. Just asking for weed.

NO... there are far more toxins in the smoke than there is in tobacco smoke (and everyone knows how bad that is)...made worse by the fact its inhaled deeper and held longer in the lungs to cause more damage than tobacco smoke is, and it does fundementlalty change brain chemistry and development for the worse. Also proven by independent studies.

Alcohol and even weed affects one's judgement and ability to concentrate or focus on specific tasks or activities. Especially in younger people whose brains and bodies are still forming, and growing. The more you drink and smoke, the more your judgement is affected. Most times in ways you don't know until long after.

Not everyone is affected the same way or at the same pace, but even after you get accustomed to it, it can be overdone. Be it a drunken, or weed induced stupor, neither is good the next day when you have an important task to perform, or big decision to make.

Quit while you are ahead, while you still have a clear head, and it won't cause problems in your life. You can have a great time and celebrate anything you want without weed, or alcohol.

LOL, you can get carried away with ICE CREAM and have bad results.

Feeling the NEED to use either one is the first stage of an addiction.

Consider whether you are trying to decide what to do because you really want to do this or because your friends are doing this and you feel that it will be expected of you to join in as well. Never should you do something if you feel it isn't in your best interest simply because your friends are doing it... and those situations will happen from time to time.

It's not always easy, but it is a sign of maturity to think for yourself.

Just something to think about if you find yourself in that scenario.

    You're 16. It's illegal. So no.

Wait until you're of legal age. It sucks, but it is legally safer.
