I know this song but I don't know the name or who sings it. It goes something like this "children behave, thats what they say when were together, and watch how you play, what would they say.....so were running just as fast as we can tryng to get away into the night......i think were alone now, doesnt seem to be anyone around" something like that. Well I know its an oldie but can anyone help me name the song and person who sings it? :) thanks

The original song is sung by Tommy James and The Shondells. It is an older song. I have a huge collection of over 1,000 45's since a lot of people were one hit wonders and so no use in buying a whole album if only 1 or 2 songs were good and the rest not worth listening to.

Also used to scary effect by robert de niro in 'cape fear'...

There was a version of this song in the early 80s by a Rachel Sweet I think.
